How Projects Work
From a real need to a closed, reported project
Every project on the platform follows the same transparent process, from publication to the final report.
Open-ended or time-bound
Some projects stay open until the target is reached; others run to a fixed deadline.
Closed and funds sent
When a project completes or reaches its deadline, it is closed and the funds are sent to the intended group.
Contributions stay anonymous
Contribution amounts on the platform are kept anonymous.
Progress is reported
Progress reports are obtained from partner organisations where possible and published as "Project Progress / Completion Reports."
Unused funds are redirected
If a project's need is resolved before funds are transferred, or a project doesn't reach a workable target, contributions are redirected to similar projects by priority.
